Overview
PWC recruitment is currently underway for the AES SAP PI/PO/CPI Manager – Operate role, which will operate out of Hyderabad. Managerial experience required for this position should range from 10 to 16 years and include considerable hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO and CPI, either as an implementer or in support environments. Professional skills required include experience in system integration, Java and Groovy scripting, and some of the following SAP suite applications: SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and BRIM. Other responsibilities of the role include interface monitoring, transport management, incident management, and team leadership. BE/B. Tech, ME/M. Tech and MBA-qualified candidates are preferred for this position. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as:
- BE / B.Tech
- ME / M.Tech
- MBA (preferred for candidates with both technical and managerial experience)
Professional Experience
- 10 to 16 years of total experience in IT or SAP consulting
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI for support or implementation
- Involvement in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project
Technical Proficiency
- Strong understanding of SAP integration with third-party systems
- Experience with Java and Groovy scripting
- Familiarity with SAP adapters (File, REST, IDoc, SFTP, RFC, JDBC, HTTP, SOAP, Mail)
- Knowledge of SAP modules (Finance or Logistics) at a key-user level is a plus
Additional Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in ODATA, AIF (Application Interface Framework), ABAP, and SAP BTP
- Understanding of integration with SAP platforms like SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, BRIM, and MRS
Responsibilities
As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above.
- Be involved in the financial metrics.
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.
- Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen.
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
- Adherence to SLAs, experience in incident management, change management, and problem management.
- Develop new skills and strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
- Assist in the management and delivery of large projects.
- Train, coach, and supervise staff to recognize their strengths and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
- Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues.

- Demonstrating project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while being detail-oriented.
Strong Knowledge in:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience on the PI/PO/CPI in Support/implementation projects
- PI/PO/CPI development knowledge for both part design as well as configuration.
- Should have done at least 1 End to End implementation.
- Adherence to SLAs, experience in incident management, change management, and problem management
- Be flexible to work in 2nd shift (2 pm IST to 11 pm IST)
- Hands-on experience with Java and Groovy scripts.
- Working experience on Integrating SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, CPM, MRS, and BRIM systems.
- Hands-on experience with ODATA is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with AIF (Application Interface Framework)
- Basic ABAP knowledge and SAP BTP Knowledge
- If SLD knowledge is there, then it will be an added advantage.
- Responsible for handling incidents and tickets causing service disruption in the PI/PO/CPI landscape.
- End-to-end experience on interface build SLD, ESR, ID, TSD perform, UAT, and transport of changes
- SAP PI/PO interfaces Monitoring and support.
- Good knowledge in using at least one SAP module in the areas of logistics or finance (key user level).
